Finance Scholarships, University of Stirling in United Kingdom

Who can apply?

Applicants may be of any nationality and must hold or expect to obtain an offer of a place on the full time MSc in Finance for entry in September 2010. Applications may be submitted for the Scholarship along with the course application, but only those obtaining a place on the course will be entered into the Scholarship competition.


These Scholarships are funded by the Accounting and Finance Division and meet course fees up to the home/EU rate. This means that the successful candidates will pay no course fees in September 2010 if they are home/EU fee category students. Overseas fee paying students are also encouraged to apply and would pay the difference between home and overseas fees.



How to apply

Complete the MSc Finance application form (pdf document 17kb)ensuring that all sections are answered legibly.

    * Pay particular attention to the section which requires a handwritten statement of approximately 500 words on why a Scholarship would help you, and what your career or educational aims are for the five year period after you graduate from the Finance course.
    * The closing date for receipt of applications is 30 June 2010.

Scholarships in Water Resources Management

ICE WaRM offers a scholarship programme to attract high quality international students to education and training in water resources management, delivered by ICE WaRM partner institutions.

The ICE WaRM scholarship programme aims to:

    * provide high calibre students with the opportunity to study with ICE WaRM partners to further their knowledge;
    * provide students with the opportunity to participate in research and advance their scientific knowledge in water resources management;
    * encourage the exchange of ideas on best practice within water-related fields;
    * provide students with the opportunity to participate in presentations, conferences, seminars and forums on contemporary issues in water resources management;
    * provide the opportunity for students from organisations and countries currently facing major water issues to participate in programmes which they may not be able to fund; and
    * demonstrate a commitment to cultural change and diversity and the international sharing of knowledge and skills related to water resources management.

ICE WaRM offers two rounds of scholarships annually, in February and July. Applicants are able to begin applying for current or future rounds at any time. The current round (to commence in Semester 1 – February 2011 has a deadline of 27th August, 2010.

SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING

ICE WaRM offers full and partial scholarships toward the cost of the programme (fee tuition). For international students the fully funded scholarship is AUD$30,000 and partially funded scholarship is AUD$15,000*.

Scholarships in Science International Health Degree

International Master of Science students in Europe is tropEd part of a network of 33 European and seven non-European higher education institutions. Since 1996, there is, tropEd Asia, Africa and America, working closely to provide postgraduate education and training opportunities.

International Master of Science students in Europe is a one-year full-time professor of English learning programs, in addition to Mexico (Spanish). The program's main goal is to improve the current global health issues. Students to become qualified to determine and shape the health and well-being in low-and middle-income countries, population is an important key factor analysis, and develop effective and appropriate Fanyingfuza health problems.

Minimum entry standards tropEd EMMC is:
* Honours degree (240 ECTS credits / 4 years) or equivalent; * 2 years of relevant professional experience; * At least 2 letters of recommendation; * internationally recognized certificate of English proficiency equivalent to TOEFL or IELTS 550/213/79-80 6.0. (See College Entrance Examination Center - European Common Language Reference). No other tests will be accepted. No English test is required, if the first degree, English has been completed.

Participation Fee must be understood as any mandatory administrative relationship to the EMMC (students such as libraries, laboratories, school fees, social security and insurance costs / operating costs). May charge any other fees, unless (for example: participation in activities, field trips), is forced or voluntary, must be a candidate for the students in the application stage.

May increase the monthly allowance to meet the needs of students with special additional costs; EMMCs will inform its annual scholarships to students in the institutional framework for the application.

Bachelor Scholarships for international students

International students live in Switzerland (B category residence permits) should be mainly used for the exhaustion of their countries of origin of all possible sources of funding. Federal Institute of Technology funds are complementary to other sources of funding that any funding from the Federal Institute of Technology would amount to only a quarter of your study and living expenses in Zurich. Therefore, it is important that you receive scholarships from other sources, including the cost of the remaining amount.
International degree students through the Federal Institute of Technology tested them, their first-year scholarship.
International graduate students who received bachelor's degree at another university can apply for scholarships for Federal Institute of Technology, they have successfully completed the Master of the second semester.
Scholarship applications should be made to the appropriate form, sent to the scholarship office.


The deadline for applications
From March 1 to June 30 school year, in the following autumn. The application must be submitted once.
New recruit undergraduate and graduate students should submit their applications, and semester (fall and spring semester, the second week of last).

MBA Scholarship

Gordon River McCulloch Scholarship is awarded to African or Latin American countries, students such as the United Nations. The scholarship will be worth £ 5,000.

Qualified

The scholarship for the citizens and residents who are open to African or Latin American countries, such as the United Nations, the international business school who is on full-time MBA or MBA program applying time in September 2010. Who is entitled to all the sponsors who are not scholarship or omissions in the applicant's qualifications. If the applicant is successful scholarship, but later refused to provide schools with MBA programs, scholarships will be withdrawn and granted to other applicants.

Standard

The scholarship will be awarded the student's academic values and interests basis. This decision will full-time MBA program consists of the Director, MBA Director of Admissions and Director of international business. If you have already sent your application, you are welcome to apply separately. Please include your name and contact details in the application process. One of these details have not not be considered a separate scholarship application.

Selection Procedure
The scholarship winner will be announced in June 2010 the University. Successful applicants will receive in September 2010, introducing the Week Award for MBA courses. Although the scholarship application should be May 31, 2010, the scholarship is only awarded to applicants who firmly accept their offer, by paying a deposit.

The university will also award scholarships Calum 2010-2011 Miller, who has been in full-time MBA courses, or full-time international MBA programs in the University of Edinburgh Business School to teach, to accept. Candidates should have good academic record, is a country's citizens or residents (at least 3 years) in South America or Africa and the United Nations definition. Gordon River McCulloch scholarship applicants will automatically be considered for scholarships, there is a £ 5,000 worth.
